Peter Gomber, Professor of e-Finance at Goethe University Frankfurt and Co-Chair of the E-Finance Lab has been appointed a member of the new Secondary Markets Standing Committee Consultative Working Group (CWG) of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). The CWG has been formed to assist the Secondary Markets Standing Committee of ESMA in its work relating to the structure, transparency and efficiency of secondary markets for financial instruments, including trading platforms and OTC markets. Furthermore, it assesses the impact of changes in the market structure to the transparency and efficiency of trading and develops ESMA policy in relation to the issues identified.
