Karsten Müller Appointed Professor of Macro Finance at SAFE and Goethe University Frankfurt
Prior to joining SAFE, Karsten Müller was a Presidential Young Professor and Assistant Professor of Finance at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School, as well as a Research Fellow at the NUS Risk Management Institute. He earned his PhD in Business and Management from the University of Warwick and subsequently held a postdoctoral position at Princeton University.
His research focuses on the intersection of finance, macroeconomics, and political economy, with a particular emphasis on the construction of novel datasets. His work has been published in leading economics and finance journals and has been widely covered by international media, including The New York Times, The Economist, the Financial Times, TIME, and Bloomberg.
