Rainer Haselmann Appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy

Prof. Dr. Rainer Haselmann, Professor of Finance, Accounting and Taxation at Goethe University Frankfurt, who is affiliated with the House of Finance in several positions, including as Co-Director of the Center for Advanced Studies on the Foundations of Law and Finance and as an IMFS Professor, has been appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE).

The Scientific Advisory Board provides the Ministry with independent advice on economic policy issues and publishes policy briefs and expert reports. Its members contribute their academic expertise to current economic policy debates.

Prof. Haselmann’s research focuses on banking, financial regulation, and corporate governance. His appointment highlights the international visibility of economic research at Goethe University and its relevance for policymaking, business, and society.
